We also handle bankruptcy, employment and immigration matters.
2. Litigation matters - Civil and commercial Law, such as suing for debt recovery and defending claims arising from the Law of Contract.
3. Corporate matters– setting up companies, drawing up contracts for sale and purchase of companies’ shares or business or assets, mergers and restructuring, acting as Company Secretary, Residential Company Director and Corporate agent for foreign-owned companies.
4. Criminal Law – Defending clients against prosecution as well as taking up private summons for them.
The Firm is EFS certified, that is, it is able to file Court documents electronically through the Internet using the Judiciary’s Electronic Filing System (EFS) which system is the first in this region and has been given the Innovative award for use of IT. The Firm does legal research through the Law Net and conducts searches with the Singapore Land Registry and handles purchase of Road plans with LTA through internet. Filings with the Registry of Companies and Businesses e.g. for setting up companies etc are also dealt with electronically as the firm is registered with RCB.
